Attorney

Bridget Bailey

Bridget Bailey is an Attorney at Passage Immigration Law, focusing on Asylum and Removal Defense. With global experience, a Harvard education, and prior service as a USCIS Asylum Officer, she advocates passionately for immigrants seeking safety and justice.
Bridget grew up on a cherry farm in the Columbia River Gorge, and after living and travelling in many countries, made her home in Oregon with her husband and their corgi, Bunnie. Their daughter Elizabeth is a professional musician. An equestrian, Bridget studies dressage. Her retired Lipizzan, Hosanna, is a descendant of those rescued by a U.S. Mission at the end of World War II.
Bridget graduated from Harvard College with a concentration in Government and was selected for the management training program, Harvard Student Agencies. She started her professional career as a white wheat trader for the Louis Dreyfus Corporation in Portland, Oregon, then moved to Japan for an intercultural experience as an international marketing specialist and newscaster for TV Tokyo.
Bridget attended Lewis and Clark Law School, clerked for Schwabe Williamson Wyatt, and interned at the Port of Portland General Counsel’s office. As a Vice President and in-house counsel for Orchard View Farms in The Dalles, Oregon, Bridget continued to learn about litigation as a pupil of the Owen Panner Inns of Court. She traveled to Chile and Australia to market fresh cherry technology. Motivated by her international experience, and her grandfather who signed declarations for key bi-lingual farm managers in support of their green card applications, Bridget developed a desire to work in immigration.
More recently, Bridget served as a city prosecutor for Hood River and The Dalles, and in 2022 and 2023, as a USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) Asylum Officer. After interviewing 100’s of applicants from Central and South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe, Bridget decided that advocacy was the best fit for her. A member of American Immigration Lawyers (AILA), the Oregon State Bar, and the U.S. District Court of Oregon, she focuses her practice on Asylum and Removal Defense.
