Colleen Muñoz joined our team as a legal extern from Lewis & Clark Law School, and she did such a great job that we had to hire her!
Colleen is a Portland native and proud alum of St. Mary’s Academy. A Division 1 lacrosse scholarship drew her to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Communications, Advertising and Marketing from Robert Morris University. Colleen’s team traveled along the East Coast competing and eventually made their way to Europe playing teams from Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
Before attending law school, Colleen met her husband at their local boxing gym. Her husband moved to the United States from Mexico and they experienced the stressful immigration process firsthand through their marriage. Their journey kindled Colleen’s interest in immigration law and bringing families together. Through her own experience, and that of her family and friends, Colleen has learned the hopes, fears, and emotions of those affected by the immigration process. Colleen is currently attending Lewis & Clark Law School and plans to continue maturing her professional knowledge of the law with hopes of becoming an immigration attorney and making an impact in the immigration law community.
When her nose is not buried in law books, Colleen can be found on a lacrosse field, in a boxing ring, or riding bikes with her husband.
